This beautiful DB4 Series 2 has benefited from a full restoration by Pugsley and Lewis to Concours winning standard.
It's powered by a fully rebuilt 4.2L engine to unleaded specifications fed by three SU carburettors as fitted to the special series DB4 Vantage. To make the most of the power unit, the gearbox was converted to a 5 speed Tremec unit which suits the car perfectly. It's a real joy to drive.
The suspension, brakes and steering have all been sympathetically upgraded to include adjustable telescopic rear shock absorbers, stiffer anti-roll bar and springs, upgraded front and rear brake calipers with modern pad material and discrete electric power steering.
The body and chassis are pristine, the car benefitting from a bare metal respray to Forest Green with all chassis box sections drilled and Waxoyled. We also added an oil cooler scoop.
Inside the car is sumptuous having had a full re-trim in Black Vaumol Hide. The new carpet is Black Wilton throughout.
For safety, we discreetly fitted period looking inertia front seat belts and for additional comfort added additional heat insulation/sound deadening material throughout the cabin.
We fitted the original radio but modified it with an amplifier, FM receiver and USB connection. To accommodate this we modified the radio box with a flip-down radio grill, as per the James Bond DB5, revealing a cubby box for the air conditioning switches.
For comfort on those long Mediterranean drives, we installed an air conditioning system with an aluminium radiator and electric cooling fan.
